Lindsay Lohan never met Elizabeth Taylor, but she had two very important brushes with the movie icon.

In 2006, at the age of 19, Lindsay posed as Dame Elizabeth  for Interview magazine in photos taken by Karl Lagerfeld.

And, Dina Lohan tells RumorFix exclusively, “When Lindsay was on the set of a movie, a jewelry box came from the House of Taylor. Elizabeth had sent Lindsay a ring that she still treasures.”

Dina says there was no explanation with the generous gift.

Lindsay, who personally approved her co-star Grant Bowler who plays Richard Burton, begins filming Liz & Dick next week for 20 days.
