Shukla goes to the university and demands to have his job back but Janaradhan refuses to hire him. Saanchi tells Indu that Sadanand had bailed Shukla out of jail. Indu confronts Sadanand but he denies helping Shukla. Sadanand calls Shukla and asks him about the stolen property papers. However, Shukla denies stealing it. Radha accuses Shobha of hiring a thief to steal the papers. Shobha denies the accusations and throws her out of the house. Saanchi befriends Sadanand's mistress, Rubina.
